Since many of the parks and trails in in Loveland are along the Big Thompson River, most were severely damaged by the raging flood waters. In the weeks since the flood, the City of Loveland has asked the community members to volunteer to help clean up the parks and trails. It is tedius work, but with enough people and enough weekends, our parks will be back. On October 26, we and 80 other community members cleaned the river area adjacent to the Fairgrounds Park.
